Slabbing is the step in exposing the natural patterns, colors, and beauty of the stone.

Lortone slab saws are meticulously designed and constructed for long life and ease of operation. Several configurations from 10" to 18" are available. Choose a saw with a blade at least three times as large as the material you wish to cut. We designed our saws for use with oil as a coolant to deliver the best in cutting speed life.

TS10{new}

This 10" heavy-duty trim saw features ab all new stainless steel design. The worktable has a 10-1/2" x 15" work surface and a centered blade. includes a sealed ball bearing arbor, and arbor pulley, 3/4" steel shaft, and a blade guard. Requires 2 quarts of cutting oil. Motor, blade and belt not included.

LS12C

This quite, fully enclosed, professional quality 12" saw is a real workhorse. It features a dependable feed rate power feed of 8"per hour and a large capacity vise which can hold up to 5" x 6-1/2" rough. The cross feed allows several cuts without repositioning. The full hinged hood keeps oil mist contained and comes with a tempered safety glass window for easy viewing. The coolant pan is detachable for easy cleaning. Requires 2 gallons of cutting oil. Complete with 12" x .062 x 5/8" diamond blade and a 1/3 hp motor with over load protection.

This 14" high performance saw delivers straight, smooth cuts at twice the speed of our standard saw. It's quite, clean,  bench top design increases your cutting capacity with out taking up an extra space. Includes our precision, true-machined flange for minimal blade run out and the ultimate in secure blade mounting. Built with a fast fixed rate power feed to deliver cuts at 15 inches per hour. Double-sealed high performance bearings, a rugged 5" x 6-1/2" capacity vise. a threaded cross feed are all standard. Require 2-1/2 gallons of cutting oil. Equipped with a 14" x 5/8" blade. 1/2 hp over load protected motor and blade sharpener.

LS18

This rugged, accurate , economical 18" slab saw is perfect for commercial cutting operations as well as home work shops. Its front loading free-standing design  allows it to go next to a work bench while the hinged hood  make loading and setup simple. Safety glass side window permits monitoring of the cut. The frame, drive guard, and tank are constructed of a heavy gauge welded steel for years of trouble free performance. Slabs material up to 7" x 7" cleanly and easily. The feed rate is adjustable from 9-1/2 x 19-1/4 inches per hour by easily changing pulley ratios.

STANDARD FEATURES INCLUDE:

Shut off switch, threaded cross feed, 3/4" arbor, and 2" drain. Shipped complete, assembled and ready to use with a high performance 18" x .125 x3/4" blade, and a 1/2 hp motor. Requires 3-1/2 gallons of cutting oil.
